REGISTRATION
COST: $75
CAPACITY: Limited to first 300 registrants
Online registration closed on Sept. 7, 2011 at Midnight, EST.
REGISTRATION POLICIES
1. Entries are non-transferrable.
2. Participant must present a photo ID and sign a release-from-liability waiver.
3. Participant must present proof of USAT membership or purchase a
one-day license.
4. Race management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to
unfavorable conditions.
5. Registration fees are non refundable in the event of cancellation.
6. There will be no refunds.
TIMING
To receive a time, each participant much have a timing chip attached to their ankle through the entire event.
Chips must be returned at the end of the race. Failure to do so will result in a
$15 fee assessed to the participant.
RESULTS
Results will be on Playmakers.com the afternoon of the event.
SWIM - 600 METERS
The course will have two down&back sections identified by buoys and lane markers.
Swim Wave Starts:
8:00am Men under 40
8:03am Men 40 and over
8:06am Women under 40
8:09am Women 40 and up
(Participants must start with these waves, based on birth year and gender,
no individual starts)
BIKE - 13 MILES
The course will be one big loop on slightly rolling country roads surrounding Burchfield Park.
RUN - 4 MILES
The course will be an out and back route with a scenic loop in a natural area.

PACKET PICK UP
-Packet pick-up will be available the day before the event at

Friday, September 9 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
-There will also be race-day packet pick-up at the shelter at
Burchfield Park: 881 Grovenburg Road, Holt, MI
Saturday, September 10 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
-A valid ID must be presented along with your USAT membership card.
-If you do not have a membership card you may purchase a single event
permit ($10) from USAT.
-Participants must pick up their own packets.
AID STATIONS
There will be a total of three opportunities for fluid replacement on the run course beginning with the station just after leaving the transition area.
FACILITIES
There are no showers in the park.
SWIM - 700 YARDS
The course will have 2 down and back sections identified by buoys and lane markers. There will be ____ separate heats starting at 9:00a.m.
BIKE - 25 MILES
The course will be 3 loops of an 8.3 mile course, on slightly rolling country roads surrounding Birchfield Park.
RUN - 6.2 MILES

Relax with post-race refreshments and massage!
A substantial variety of post-race refreshments will be available in the recovery tent as well as a select group of massge therapists.
Get a check up from Dr. Thomas A. Livermore.
It is Tom's objective to help any participant who may be suffering from an overuse or athletic injury. At the site, he will be providing Active Release Techniques, stretching, and advice about reducing repetitive motion injuries.

Go to the registration page on the website and click to register. Follow the simple steps.
3. Where do I pick up my packet?
You can pick up your packet on Friday, September 9 at Playmakers from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. or on race day at Burchfield Park from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m.
4. Can someone else pick up my packet?
NO, participants must pick up their own packets.
5. What do I need to bring with me to pack pick up?
You will need to bring a photo ID and a valid USA Triathlon Membership Card.
6. What if I don't have a USAT membership card?
You may purchase a one day membership during the Playmakers online registration.

The Playmakers Classic Triathlon starts at 8:00am. Triathletes may enter the park beginning at 6:00am to complete their registration process and begin setup in the bike corral. Due to the need to coordinate 4 parking areas in the park and then the securing of the park entrance road, an early arrival by all volunteers is requested.
